Treat Yo'Self + DIY Bath Caddy

Hey guys!

Here are three words for you: Treat Yo’ Self . Why? Self love is important and so it taking the time to unwind and recharge your batteries. I like to treat myself every Sunday so I can get myself physically and mentally ready for the work week ahead. Remember to always feed back to your well-being. Not only will you feel rejuvenated, you will be in a better mood. You may think that you're indestructible but that is not the case. Holding in stress can take a toll on the body and mind.

So how do I like to decompress? With a "fancy" bath of course! For me, baths are a great way to chill out and not think about anything. I added slices of both Grapefruit and lemon which leave you with glowing skin! You could also add your favourite bath salts or essential oils! Now, I like to do more than just relax, I also like to pamper myself in the process. So,  I want to share with you what products I like to use while i'm treating myself!

Also, I have added a quick and easy bath caddy DIYat the end of this post!

Tea is my go-to beverage when I want to relax. I don't really drink wine but if that's your thing, go for it girl! Have a glass or two! For me, hot Sweet Almond Tea from Urban Tea House is a treat! This tea is great because it's pure happiness in a cup and it's decaffeinated so I can sleep after winding down.

This mask is infused with ingrediants for relaxing the skin and achieving a brighter, more revitalized complexion. This eye mask offers intense nutrition and relieving sensitive areas. Plus, it has no parabensand it isn't tested on animals! I wake up with fresh not puffy eyes the next morning!

4. For the skin:  Brazilian Bum Bum Cream

I can't tell you how amazing this cream is! Is smells absolutely amazing and definitely one of my holy grail products. This cream really sinks into the skin because it is powered by a Brazilian blend of cupuaçu butter, antioxidant powerhouse açaí, and super-conditioning coconut oil . Your skin definitely feels so smooth and firmer after applying.  The pistachio caramel leaves skin delicately fragranced. This product is also free from parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

DIY Bath Caddy

Okay, now I wanted to share with you guys the quickest and simplest DIY bath caddy project. It took me 10 minutes and cost less than $10. You can make it for yourself or gift it!

What you will need:

-Wood Glue

-Cedar wood

-A Measuring Tape

-Sand paper

Step #1: Measure the width of your bathtub

My bathtub measured 29 inches long. I went to my local Home Depot and had someone cut two boards 29 inches long. I specifically used cedar because it is naturally resistant to water and decay.

Step #2: Glue both boards together

Take both pieces and glue them together. Let it sit until completely dry. You can also you nails to connect the two pieces together, but for me, this was the quickest way. Make sure to use the sandpaper to get rid of any rough edges.

Step #3: Mark the width of the inside of your bathtub

This step is important because this will keep your caddy from slipping into the tub. Measure the width of the inside of your tub and mark it using chalk.

Step #4: Glue your stoppers

Once you have marked your board, glue and place onto the bottom of your board. The stoppers will help secure the boards.

Step #5: Enjoy!

That's it! Now, how simple and easy was that! Enjoy your new bath caddy!
