Terracotta Love

Hey guys!

I'm starting to think that everyone should have a little something chambray in their wardrobe. The most common way I’ve seen this fabric worn are as button-up shirts which I have plenty of but nothing like this skirt! What a fun twist! Ah, I’m so in love with how unique yet simple this maxi skirt is. It is light weight & breathable, perfect for spring and summer days! It also features snap-buttons that go all the way down to the bottom of the skirt so you can customize a slit to show off some leg if you wanted!

Okay, so now let's take time to appreciate how beautiful this flouncy floral embroidered top is! I like how the embroidery continues to the back of the top. You really don't see that often and the design is gorgeous. The colors in the embroidery complemented the skirt perfectly.  The dainty ruffle details on the shoulders and the bottom of the sleeves is the perfect touch of feminine. Usually if I’m doing something "flowy" on the bottom, I like to pair it with something more fitted up top BUT this combo was necessary.

I added a cognac brown belt and lace up  heels that went perfectly with the look (by the way, these heels are back in stock on Lulus.com!). I thought these Kendra Scott Lapis stone earrings complemented the look. I topped it all off with a warm-based lipstick by Smashbox (currently my favorite liquid lipstick formula). The links to every piece of this outfit is listed below. Happy shopping my dear & enjoy.
