Remember The Days
Ah, the always flattering wrap dress. If you didn't know, the wrap dress was made iconic by Diane Von Furstenberg in the 1970s. From that point on, it has been a staple in almost every woman's closet. It is the number one dress that looks good for on EVERY body type! Yes my dear, you heard right! This style of dress really is the epitome of femininity, sexiness, sophistication & effortlessness...so basically the perfect dress. There are so many variations of the wrap dress. Not matter what fabric or length, the wrap dress will always work for any occasion (work, weddings, the weekend, dinner dates, etc ).
I'm rocking the floral print high-low version. It definitely hugs all the right places. I got major vintage vibes, mainly because of the more structured sleeves. I mean, I feel like a character out of the Notebook. I love how the high-low cut of the dress makes it more modernized. The print is beautiful and I think the red really compliments my skin-tone. I paired it with nude ankle strap heels, my favorite staple rose-gold choker & my green Kendra Scott studs. Oh, and can we take a moment to appreciate this awesome milk-maid braid that my hairstylist friend Chloe did!? I can never do braids on myself so she came to the rescue and made my hair look fab!
ladies, if you don't own a wrap dress, do yourself a favor and get one right now. Yeah, like at this very instant. GO!
So, I think that's a "wrap"! I had to...sorry not sorry.
